“But First A School”
George Balanchine
Before there can be a company such as the Carolina Ballet, there must be a school to discover, educate, train, develop and build a strong pre-professional, regional, civic company.
Dance is more than expressive movement, it connects us to the past and leads us to the future. Mimi Worrell, following the tradition SC Dance legend, Ann Brodie, recognizes the importance of excellence in dance training to produce professional dancers and the leaders of tomorrow.
Building those young dancers is expensive in time commitment and money.
You can help sustain the CENTER FOR DANCE EDUCATION through your generous gifts over and above your support of the Carolina Ballet. As a non-profit organization Ann Brodie’s Carolina Ballet CENTER FOR DANCE EDUCATION can use your generous gifts to assist with tuition scholarships and outreach programs.
