MARIAN MORGAN, was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina.  She began her dance training under the tutelage of her mother, Mimi Worrell, at Ann Brodie's Carolina Ballet Center for Dance Education.  She danced with Carolina Ballet where she had the opportunity of dancing many roles and working with guest choreographers throughout her pre-professional dance training; and studied with Joulia Moiseeva, McCree Kelley, Keith Mearns, and Miriam Barbosa.  She had additional training with Stacey Calvert, Kyra Strasberg, Sara Mearns, Katie-Hanlon Mayo, Eriberto Jimenez and Sarah Hairston all at the Center for Dance Education.  She has studied at the School of American Ballet, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and The Bolshoi Academy. As trainee with the Richmond Ballet, under Stoner Winslett, she studied with that staff and faculty.   With the Richmond Ballet she performed as demi-soloist in The Nutcracker, a Fairy in Midsummer Night's Dream, in the corps of La Bayadere, in the Minuet Variation from Balanchine's Divertimento, No15, and in Winslett's Windows. Ms. Morgan currently dances with Columbia City Ballet.
