Clare Ellinger, was born in Columbia, South Carolina and began her ballet training at the Center for Dance Education. She went on to become an Ann Brodie's Carolina Ballet company member and continued studying dance under the tutelage of Mimi Worrell, Joulia Moisseeva, Amy Shuler, Keith Mearns, and McCree Kelley. She attended the Ann Brodie's Carolina Ballet Summer Intensive every year from 2002-2009, in addition to the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet Summer Intensive in 2008 and the Atlanta Ballet Theatre Summer Intensive in 2009. She has been featured in many ballets including A Midsummer Night's Dream, La Bayadare, Don Quixote, The Four Seasons, Giselle, The Nutcracker, Le Corsaire, Coppelia, Les Sylphides, Cinderella, Swan Lake, and Tarantella. She received her bachelor degree in Public Health at the University of South Carolina. She became very passionate about studying the anatomy of the body and movement, as well as the mind and body connection. She went through an Integrative Health Counseling program at Duke University in 2018. She also went through a 200 hour Yoga Alliance approved Yoga teacher training to become an E-RYT 200, in addition to becoming an NASM CPT and Expert Rating certified Pilates instructor. She went through American Ballet Theatre's Ballet Teacher training to become certified in Pre-Primary through level 3. She loves applying the knowledge she has gained to helping dancers improve their maximum flexibility, and become both physically and mentally strong dancers. She is currently the Strength/Conditioning coach and teaches ballet for Ann Brodie's Carolina Ballet. She also teaches Yoga for the University of South Carolina, and works with individual clients to come alongside them in finding the joy of movement and optimal wellness.
